Principles

less, by design.

  1. 01

    local-first

No account, no upload. Files stay on your machine. Because they’re plain Markdown, your git and editor work with them as-is — and so do the AI tools you already use.

  2. 02

    markdown-native

No proprietary format. No export step, no separate document — edit it in any editor on any OS, commit it to git, pipe it through anything.

  3. 03

    distraction-free

No fiddling. One theme, nothing to set up. Recolour the branches to match your brand if you need to — otherwise, open a file and start thinking.
